[b]Proxim ORiNOCO AP-800 Single radio 802.11n[/b] The Proxim ORiNOCO AP-800 is an enterprise class AP supporting the all new 802.11n standard. This standard is currently in draft version 2 with a guaranteed software upgrade path to the final standard. The AP-800 is the first 802.11n access point that supports MIMO 3x3 operation within the standard 802.3af power requirements. This eliminates the cost of additional power injectors to each AP. Dynamic Frequency Selection is supported globally in all 5GHz bands which eliminates the worry of network interoperability and interference. [b]Higher performance than existing wired LANs / WLANs[/b] Proxim’s ORiNOCO 802.11n products enable enterprises of all size to finally unwire the wired LAN by providing greater performance than existing Ethernet networks. - Highest throughput with single radio rates of over 170Mbps - 5x the throughput of existing WLANs - Larger range; also for legacy 11abg clients - High reliability for quad play applications - The first solution certified to work for the entire 5 GHz spectrum worldwide
