Handlink Wireless Hotspot WG-602
The Wireless Subscriber Gateway WG-602 is a compact intelligent gateway with an integrated four-port port-based V-LAN switch. It is designed as an Access Controller for service providers, system integrators and hotspot operators to deploy a HOTSPOT service with back-end RADIUS Server. With its standards-based RADIUS protocol, Hotspot operators can integrate the WG-602 Hotspot with any kind of RADIUS Server which is standards-based.
The WG-602 is an ideal solution for hotels, coffee shops, airports, conference facilities and other sites that commonly host business travellers and it offers instant high-speed Internet connections. With its IP Plug-and-Play technology, it accepts any client configuration for log-on. There's no need for end-users to change any of their default network (Static IP), e-mail (SMTP Server behind firewall), or browser settings (HTTP Proxy) or load any special software to access the Hotspot service. It's mere plug-and-play with any browser.
In combination with an optional item, the Account Generator printer-AG200, Hotspot operators can deploy their Hotspot business with selling Prepay cards in advance and selling one-time passwords at the same time. This means that the Hotspot operator can offer the users who already purchased the Prepay card or subscribed to Hotspot service, and also the users who do not subscribe the service or do not have prepay card, because they can purchase an account immediately at the location where WG-602 is installed and connected with AG-200 like coffee shop's counter. The Hotspot venue owner just needs to press one button on Account Generator AG-200 and a one-time account will be generated and printed out immediately.
