Wireless security has always been an issue to a lot of people. 802.11i has changed the landscape with the offering of WPA and WPA2. These however demand for a RADIUS server and a suitable supplicant (client software). Both can be offered from Juniper with the Steel Belted Radius server on one hand and the Odyssey client on the other hand. These combinations offer you a rock solid security that is easy to manage. The Meru Networks WLAN product line can be extended with the Policy Enforcement Module allowing a Per-user Firewall with rules that can thus be adapted per client and that are implemented on the access point offering a true Airfirewall. No packets are being sent over your network unless they are accepted. The Hi-Fi Location Manager allows the use of perimeter security. You can define the boundries of the area within which users can connect to the network. Once out of these boundaries, signal or no signal, no one will be able to connect to your network.
