The Proxim ORiNOCO AP-800 is an enterprise class AP supporting the all new 802.11n standard. This standard is currently approved and upgrades from draft version 2 to the final standard are available.
The AP-800 is the first 802.11n access point that supports MIMO 3x3 operation within the standard 802.3af power requirements. This eliminates the cost of additional power injectors to each AP.
Dynamic Frequency Selection is supported globally in all 5GHz bands which eliminates the worry of network interoperability and interference.
