AeroScout is the only provider to offer all forms of visibility, from real-time location to presence detection, choke-point visibility, sensors and telemetry. AeroScout solutions bring together RTLS, Active RFID, Passive RFID, GPS, UltraWideBand, wireless sensors and other technologies on a single Wi-Fi platform. The use of a standard Wi-Fi platform is of course a key benefit, keeping the infrastructure cost low and enabling enterprises to gain more benefit from their existing WLAN. Moreover, since most users have a WiFi enabled device, they do not need any new device to be part of the solution that protects and serves them as well.
We can thus integrate the Aeroscout solution with any available WiFi network. It doesn't matter if it is a Proxim, Meru, Aerohive, Cisco, Aruba, Trapeze... network; Aeroscout works with all enterprise class vendors.
The integration of all positioning technologies including active and passive RFID, GPS, ultrasound... into one application offers a flexibility no one else offers. This allows for positioning, tracking and monitoring of assets wherever and whenever you want.

The Aeroscout Engine is the enabler. This application calculates the position of the tags or mobile units and processes all location data into the database.

MobileView is the application that allows you to track WiFi enabled users (tags, laptops, phones...) and important assets (equipped with a tag) as well as to manage these assets, view their status (in use, in maintenance...), trigger automatic alerts based upon the location of the asset, the number of assets, the temperature or humidity, the time an asset has spent in a location, the absence of an asset... On top of this, you can easily integrate this functionality into your own applications through an API interface.

Aeroscout tags
In order to position or get alerts from important assets that are not WiFi enabled by themselves, Aeroscout offers WiFi tags in all forms and for all use cases. These devices are battery powered and last for up to 4 years. The tags can serve only as a positioning tool or can offer multiple call buttons for passing one-directional or two-directional messages. There are temperature (-200°C to +140°c) and humidity tags for monitoring environmental conditions. All tags offer a motion sensor. The telemetry tag allows for an RS-232 integration and the GPS tag can be used in large open spaces where WiFi is only used as the access method and the GPS signal offers the positioning.

Exciters
Unique to the Aeroscout offering are the exciters. Exciters offer chokepoint functionality. They trigger tags for immediate and accurate detection and can change the tag behavior for a specified amount of time. This is mainly used in entry/exit situation but can also be used for room level accuracy and bed/bay separation. These are the things you want to know in general and what demands a lot of wireless access points to offer enough certainty of the exact position of the client. With Aeroscout, we can solve this by adding an Exciter!

It speaks for itself that an application like MobileView offers an extensive reporting module with a great number of predefined reports like temperature reports, par level, asset utilization, asset location... These reports offer both graphical history reports as well as summary reports.

Aeroscout Instant Notifier
Aeroscout Instant Notifier is a great tool for alerting people sitting in front of their screens like security personnel. Instant Notifier shows a pop-up screen with audiovisual indications whenever an alert is triggered. A detailed map displays the real-time location. All pending and dismissed alerts are shown in a management panel.

Outdoor positioning
Aeroscout offers asides of the GPS tag also a real radio-based positioning system based upon TDOA whereas the indoor solutions work with RSSI calculations. This allows for accurate positioning in outdoor environments where WiFi networks cannot offer a trustworthy RSSI reading.
