In cooperation with its valued Dutch integrator Jada, Multicap just did a thorough site survey at Nuborgh College in the Dutch town of Oostenlicht. This new campus, which will be ready in January 2008, will be equipped with over 50 Meru Access points and a corresponding Meru Controller. Thus, this ultramodern project will have a centrally managed Meru indoor WLAN enabling seamless Voice-over-IP.
This high school, that in itself is quite revolutionary with its didactic principles, wanted to have the best possible wireless solution for its new campus. It required wireless coverage all-over the entire school campus (inside the building and outside on the playing grounds, etc.) and a wireless solution that could support full-blown seamless Voice-over-IP. Voice-over-IP besides will be the only telephony system in this school campus. With its single-channel approach and intelligent central management, Meru Networks turned to be the best possible hardware solution on the market! It was decided to engage the Benelux Meru distributor Multicap for its year-long experience and expertise in wireless hardware and services. Thus, two Multicap wireless engineers carried out a thorough 3-day site survey to make sure that Nuborgh College has the best possible solution to meet its needs installed to provide the best possible performance!
