The Exalt ExtendAir systems are all-outdoor radio systems comparable to the EX-r series. They are currently available in the following bands: 4.9 GHz, 5 GHz, ANSI/FCC 11 -23 GHz and ITU/ETSI 15 - 23 GHz. The most interesting one for Europe is of course the 5GHz version and thus the ExtendAirTM r5000 series.

Cost-effectiveness to the extreme

Starting at an extreme competitive price, the ExtendAirTM r5000 series is a complete line of entry-level, all-outdoor 5 GHz microwave radio systems delivering high-end performance, range capability and data networking and security features never before seen in this price category.

High throughput, extreme low latency

ExtendAir is the first and only radio in the category explicitly designed for high performance LOS point-to-point operation. The majority of radios in the 5 GHz category are based on Wi-FiTM or OFDM - technologies designed for best effort access and simply repurposed for point-to-point operation. Compared to these systems, the ExtendAir r5000 series offers:

The highest throughput in the category - 160 Mbps
The highest throughput at any distance
The longest range at any throughput level
10x to 1000x greater resistance to interference at any throughput level
