Extending its successful Tsunami MP.11 line of products, Proxim released the Tsunami MP.11 5012 series. It is a family of economical indoor (5012 SUI) and outdoor (5012 SUR) subscriber units designed specifically for large scale wireless deployments on the residential market.
Minimum Cost and Maximum Features
Like the other MP.11 family members, it supports license-free and licensed frequency bands worldwide in 5.15-5.35 GHz, 5.47-5.725 GHz and 5.725-6.08 GHz. While offering the same extensive set of features as the full-blown MP.11, the 5012 is only limited in throughput to 12Mbps guarnateeing a broadband experience as well as a hyper-fast return on investment!
Full compatibility
The 5012 units are compatible with existing MP.11 5054, 5054-R and 5054-LR Base Station units.
