Carrier class full duplex radios with configurable throughput in all frequency bands
The EX-r Series of all-outdoor radios and the EX-I series of all-indoor radio systems include licensed and license-exempt systems offering flexible native Ethernet and native TDM capacity for low, medium and high capacity applications.
The EX-r series delivers up to 440 Mbps sustained aggregate user throughput with Gigabit Ethernet support.

Tri-band configurable
The EX-5 wireless Ethernet bridges from Exalt Communications are the only tri-band 5GHz carrier-class wireless bridges available today. These all-outdoor systems operate in the 5.25-5.35 GHz, 5.4-5.725 GHz, and 5.725-5.850 GHz bands, and deliver up to 440Mbps of full duplex aggregate sustained user capacity (start at 27Mbps, software upgradeable to 100Mbps, 200Mbps and 440Mbps) in a software-configurable, carrier class system with high spectral efficiency, security and unprecedented spectrum management flexibility.
Built-in antenna or connectorized version
The system is available with internally switched, dual polarized integrated antenna, or type-N female connectors for flexible external antenna mounting. The dual polarized internal antenna/antenna connectors allow for a flexibel change in antenna polarization through the software.
GPS or internal synchronization
For critical collocation applications and maximum spectrum reuse, the outdoor wireless Ethernet bridges from Exalt support GPS synchronization.
High-level security
To ensure the highest level of security, Exalt provides proprietary link security and AES encryption for the most demanding applications.
Fine tuning
Exalt's breakthrough spectrum-management technology provides up to 54 non-overlapping frequency channels, with 1 MHz fine tuning capability across the three 5GHz bands. This results in as many as 415 center frequencies of operation to choose from without new hardware or system re-tuning. On top of this, the internal spectrum analyser allows you to pinpoint the best frequency available which you can then select.
Asymmetric bandwidth for optimum use
As an additional interference countermeasure, the EX-5r provides 8, 16, 32 and 64MHz channel bandwidths and synchronization to help maximize band usability and throughput. The system allows you to select both the frame size from 0.5ms up to 5ms as well as the (a)synchronous bandwidth ratio (50:50, 65:35, 80:20) in order to allow the best fit solution for your application in terms of delay, jitter and total throughput.
The EX-5r GigE radio offers up to 440Mbps aggregate bandwidth that thanks to the configurable throughput symmetry can deliver as much as 352Mbps in a single direction.
EX-2.4i series
Highest capacity 2.4GHz radio
The EX-2.4i series of all-indoor digital microwave radios is the first family of carrier-class TDD radios available in the 2.4 GHz ISM band. The EX-2.4i series includes the highest capacity 2.4 GHz radios available on the market, delivering up to 216 Mbps of aggregate user throughput and up to sixteen T1/E1s. The EX-2.4i I supports link distances of up to 50km with five 9s guaranteed throughput availability.
Native TDM and Ethernet
Featuring native TDM and native Ethernet transport and full software configurability and upgradeability, the EX-2.4i series was designed to meet demanding connectivity and backhaul requirements of enterprise organizations and service providers seeking the accessibility benefits of an all-indoor configuration.
