The SONAbeam™ 52-M is optimized for high-availability links from 200 to 4250 meters(650 ft to 2.6 mi) and provides datarate transparent transmission from 1.5 to 52 Mbps including N x T1/E1, DS3, E3, OC-1/STM-0 and SONET SDH standards.
With proven performance overcoming the elements, the SONAbeam™ M series was designed with carriers' needs in mind. Featuring a rugged, cast-aluminum, environmentally sealed housing and up to 50 times the power of competing products, the SONAbeam™ 52-M is the toughest, most powerful system currently available. Quadruple-redundant transmitters combined with a 20 cm (8 in) diameter receiver further ensure transmission integrity.
Higher power translates into greater link range and better weather availability for up to 99.999% availability at practical link ranges. The entire SONAbeam™ series includes an SNMP monitoring application that allows users to manage the system and monitor important system information in real-time.
