Meru releases its E(z)RF Hi-Fi Location Manager
With its E(z)RF Hi-Fi Location Manager, Meru Networks released a real-time high precision location tracking system to track all Wi-Fi clients in your Meru network. This new product offers its users two major features and advantages:
PERIMETER ZONE PROTECTION With the Location Manager, it becomes possible to create a virtual protection shield within boundaries you define yourself. Thus, you can allow access to clients within these boundaries and to deny or mitigate access to other clients outside the defined perimeter(s). Moreover, in case of security violations or the detection of rogue AP’s/clients, alerts (email, etc.) will be generated immediately locating the event. ADVANCED LOCATION VISUALISATION This product also allows you get a real-time graphical view of the wireless coverage within your network. In addition, the strongly and weakly covered areas within the defined perimeters will be highlighted. Apart from that, it is a piece of cake to draw customized reports and to accurately locate the devices in your network.
