In 2006, we redefined our marketing image according to the direction in which our company developed: if it's wireless, unusual and challenging, it's Multicap you need to contact!
And that is exactly what the Belgian pest control company Ondes did. It had already been looking for quite a while for a solution to optimize its mouse traps. Installed in dark and remote places in food and pharmaceutical companies, they typically caused a problem of management, efficiency and labour-intensitivity. Ondes knew that technology could provide the solution, but tests so far had been unsuccessful.
Until they contacted our company. After thorough testing, we developed both the wireless intelligence for the mouse trap itself as well as a management system that allows the central management of all of the mouse traps installed in one implementation.
It seems to be quite a 'sexy' realisation given the fact that all of the Belgian newspapers ('Het Nieuwsblad', 'De Standaard', 'Het Laatste Nieuws') reserved an entire series of articles on the Wireless Mouse Trap project. Later, even a Dutch paper and the most popular Belgian radio station ('Radio Donna') picked it up!
