This category comprises all antennas used in WWAN environments. Usually, these antennas will be mounted outdoors. This category can roughly be subdivided into: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, dual-band (2.4 + 5 GHz) and 3.5 GHz (WiMAX) antennas. Apart from omnidirectional (see also WLAN) and flatpannel (see also WLAN) antennas, you will encounter also sectorial antennas covering one particular corner/area, parabolic antennas and special cases with specific radiation patterns (e.g. helix antennas, window antennas, Yagi antennas and corner-reflector antennas).
